Technical Director

I joined IACS in 2006 as an Inspector, becoming Technical Director in 2020. I’m unashamedly passionate about innovation and new technology, so I’m always seeking out new initiatives which will future-proof our practices and maximize our potential. In our sector, technology moves at a blistering pace, creating potential which excites and motivates me every day. I’ve recently attained qualifications in Web Development and MS Power Platform, to ensure IACS continues to operate at the forefront of exciting app-based technologies and efficiencies.

At home, I switch off by getting technical there too! I love getting absorbed in the intricacies of building and renovating things in the garden and house, which has enabled me to learn new skills like plumbing, electrics, tiling, and bricklaying.

I do like the finer things in life, and have even been accused of being ‘high maintenance’, but I point out I’m doing quite a lot to become self-sufficient! I enjoy travel and the chance to sample new cultures, food and wine. I also support Liverpool Football Club, which certainly helps keep my feet on the ground.

Looking forward professionally, I’ve realized a huge ambition by becoming approved for CSWIP-BGAS Scheme Board, which I intend to use to progress our industry, help people develop transferable skills, and make it a welcoming, dynamic and inclusive workplace for new talent.
